Back at Peak Forest and 66070 stands at the head of a rake of loaded RMC hoppers and draws them out of the siding. The sky looks threatening, a threat it would later keep.
66070 has left the loaded rake of hoppers and a tank securely braked on the falling 1 in 90 grade in one of the loops. It now crosses over the main running lines to go onto the stabling point. I had hoped it would try and lift the train from the loop onto the mainline and go into melt down, but I was to be disappointed!!
It is worrying when a class 66 turns up on a class 60 turn. Of course there may be a good reason for having 66056 rostered to 6M87 TThO 1107 Ely to Peak Forest empty RMC hoppers.
