2010 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala

The weekend after the May Bank Holiday is the weekend of the legendary Swanage Diesel Gala which has the Dorset Beer Festival tied in with it. So once again the pilgrimage from Fife to my native Dorset is made and to the railway I call "mine". I was there on the very first day in 1976 and I was loco crew on the first train in August 1979. It holds a special place in my heart.
