The low evening sun glints off the top of 66213 and flares into the camera lens. The type 5 is working 6M24 1623 Castleton to Toton Departmental train. I saw this outward working in the morning at Grindleford but wasn't able to photograph it. Castleton is located to the north east of Manchester and is where the East Lancs Railway makes its main line connection.
A final shot for the day and Pacers pass by at Thornhill. 142033 forming 2S34 1845 Manchester Piccadilly to Sheffield passes 142089 with 2S37 1914 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly.
