After a deafening run from Inverness up to Slochd Summit behind the Royal Scot and then the drop southbound, we pause at Kingussie for water.
A head on shot of the awesome beast that is 46115. The firebox is huge, narrow but very long.
On arrival at Perth, 61994 and support coach uncoupled from the train and ran into the southern siding to wait its time back to Thornton. 46115 heads away for Cadder Yard with its light load of two coaches, it plays with them as it climbs away at 1 in 176. 20/4/2011
