The Great Britain Rail tours

In April of 2007 the Railway Touring Company, with West Coast Railways, ran an ambitious series of separate railtours which covered the whole country hauled by several different steam locomotives on consecutive days, they called it "The Great Britain". The next day and four steam locos stand in Millburn Yard ready to work south. On the right is 45407 and 44871 ready to take the railtour to Glasgow Central. On the left is 46115 and 61994 which will go to Cadder Yard with 61994 and support coach coming off at Perth for Thornton. What a shot!! 20/4/2011
45407 and 44871 are ready to head into the station as 5Z38 1026 Millburn Yard to Inverness station, then it will become 1Z38 1100 Inverness to Glasgow Central.
On the other road 46115 will pilot 61994 with both support coaches and one belonging to Ian Riley. It will leave at 1018 as 5Z41 1018 Inverness Millburn Yard to Cadder Yard. I rode on the K4 to Pitlochry. After this shot I took a few minutes to go and say cheerio to Ross who was heading back home to Tain.
