The train approaches Hilton Junction coming off the Newburgh branch on the only remaining double track section of the line and passes the up loop starter semaphore.
Talking to a guy earlier at Forteviot and he said about a ballast working double headed by a pair of class 37's that was going north. So despite being cold and wet I hung for it and when it appeared it had 66302 on the front.
The former Fastline loco hauls five JJA autoballasters working 6K10 Millerhill to Moy. Although the weather had improved it had seriously affected my camera and had I known this was going to be a class 66 I doubt I would've stayed for it. As it turned there WAS a double headed class 37 on a ballast and it was through Fife. I went out for it but my very wet camera died at the critical moment so I just watched it go by. Once it had dried out my camera was fine. 27/4/2015
