2009 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala rd

Every year on the first weekend after the May Bank Holiday, the Swanage Railway hosts its now famous diesel gala and beer festival. Wall to wall diesel action with visiting locos and the home fleet mixed in with a beer festival. With a weekend of clear skies and constant sunshine and a stunning selection of fine ales, what could be better? 8-10/5/2009

    31108 comes out of the yard and runs towards platform 2 and the stock of the train brought in by the Peak.
