A closer look at the two six coupled class 5 locos. The fireman on the Black Five has put a round on judging by the darkness in the white exhaust.
The County March Summit and end of the climb is about a quarter of a mile away. I would say that both firemen have put down their shovels and are taking a breather and enjoying the sound from up front. Shortly it will be down hill all the way to Crianlarich six miles away.
A quick drive down to Crianlarich and a short walk to catch the train passing over the viaduct above the River Fillan. The locos reflect of the still waters of the gently flowing river.
