    The diesel hauled train has arrived and the loco has uncoupled allowing 61994 to back down onto the stock.  Owner John Cameron looks out from the fireman's seat.
    Out on the road and 61994 climbs the 1 in 188 gradient away from Perth at Denmarkfield on the former Caledonian Railway route to Aberdeen. The train is 1Z61 0642 Polmont to Broomhill.
    This was a favourite location for photographing the Glasgow to Aberdeen 3 hour expresses in the mid 1960's after the A4's had been brought up to run the services.  The trains left the Inverness road at Stanley Junction and headed for Forfar.
