    828 and 61994 stand side by side at Boat of Garten. The K4 and its train, 1Z62 1435 Broomhill to Polmont railtour, wait for the service train to depart and arrive in Aviemore and clear the section.
    61994 sits at Boat of Garten waiting for 828 to travel the five miles to Aviemore and clear the section and then allowing the railtour to set off.
    The Strathspey Railway was granted access to the island platform at Aviemore in 1998 which gives cross platform access for railborne passengers off the main line. Rail access is also made in platform 3. 61994 stands in the main station having gained the mainline and waits for its departure time. At this point Ross and I bailed and he headed home and I went off in search of my next location.
