    On the road back to Polmont and the train passes Balavil on easy grades between Aviemore and Kingussie.
    Further south now and 61994 climbs towards Dalwhinnie and ultimately Druimuachdar Summit.  But the track is actually level where the train is at the site of Inchlea Crossing Loop and signalbox.
    The change in gradient behind the train is from level, where the 70 mph sign is, pulling up to 1 in 160  to just behind me when it stiffens further to 1 in 100.  The nearest mile post is 62 miles from  Stanley Junction.
