A down train gathers speed away from the sharp curve at the former junction site with 444039 running as 1W19 0935 Waterloo to Weymouth. These trains used to be hourly but run half hourly.
A move back to Wareham and up and down trains cross. In the down platform is 444007 with 1W61 1005 off Waterloo to Weymouth.
The up train departs with 1W18 1203 off Weymouth for Waterloo with 444011. The popular class 442 5WES units have been withdrawn by SWT and all the Weymouth services are handled by class 444 Desiros.
