An invitation by a member of staff at the Forth Road Bridge to go to the top of the North Tower was NOT to be passed over. So my team Sergeant and myself were escorted up the 500 foot tower for a lofty view of the Firth of Forth. 18/4/2004

    Climbing towards North Queensferry station is a pair of class 150 sprinters with 2K01 1215 SuO Edinburgh - Fife Circle Inner - Edinburgh working. That makes all three classes of ScotRail sprinters seen in the space of less than an hour. It was an exhillerating experience to go up the tower and one that would not be possible now.
