    Another mkI class 423 4VEP unit runs in with a short distance to its journey's end.  3405 forms 1Y28 1057 from Brighton to terminate at Basingstoke about a mile or so away.
    A motley collection of wagons including OBA and KWA vehicles form this class 7 45mph departmental working.  66210 is employed on 7Y39 0946 Hoo Junction to Eastleigh Yard.
    Not all the Portsmouth Harbour workings produced a slamdoor set many were rostered to the new Desiro units and these went by unrecorded. But this train, 1T33 1209 off London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour was formed by 4VEP 3811 and was duly photographed.
