    The light on this grey day is fading fast and soon it'll be too dark for photography.  A pairing of class 423 and 421 4VEP and 4CIG units pass by on the down fast lines.  3904 and 1831 form 2A40 1632 Victoria to Three Bridges class 2 service.
    A Southern Liveried 4CIG draws into the small station with a class 2 local working, 2C91 1638 London Bridge to Horsham.
    Another Southern 4CIG set 1860 slows for its station stop for a pickup and set down of a few passengers each.  This train is 2C47 1700 from Horsham to London Victoria.  Time to leave and find a B&B near to Basingstoke.
