    This was a real bonus even in the poor and fading light.  Preserved blue liveried 4VEP unit 3417 named Gordon Pettit emerges from the carriage sidings for the run up to Waterloo as 5T57, 1747 off Clapham.
    The next morning was cold and wet and the location is Redhill.  A South Eastern class 508 unit, 508203 works a class 2 service 2B36 0933 Tonbridge to London Bridge.
    The view to the north at Redhill and a pair of class 377 Electrostar units with 377420 leading a down service.  The small electrical substation on the left is covered in graffiti.
