    In amongst the steady procession of 4VEP and 4CIG units is a 4BEP set.  2315 is paired with 4VEP 3468 and employed on 1B56 1555 Southampton to Waterloo.
    Class 423 4VEP unit 3470 is rear of a two unit set departing the carriage shed for the run to Waterloo as empty stock.
    This was a real bonus even in the poor and fading light.  Preserved blue liveried 4VEP unit 3417 named Gordon Pettit emerges from the carriage sidings for the run up to Waterloo as 5T57, 1747 off Clapham.
