377131 approaches the level crossing and has passed the tall home semaphore signal controlled by the small Saxby and Farmer Type 5 signalbox of 1879. The train is 2D66 1009 Eastbourne to Brighton.
377147 works 2D21 0954 Brighton to hastings class 2 service. It passes Berwick's down home signal on a post built, in Southern Railway style, using two former rails bolted together.
