The Bexhill up starter is located just off the end of the canopy and passenger platform. Like so many, the post is built using redundant rail sections. 377165 passes the post with 2D74 1340 Hastings to Brighton.
Electrostart 377147 slows for its station stop at Bexhill station with 2D27 1254 off Brighton to Hastings. It is passing Bexhill signalbox, another Saxby & Farmer Type 5 'box of 1876 vintage. It retains its original 19 lever frame but now uses 17 of them.
