An unidentified up working approaches Pulborough formed by class 377 unit 377453. It is passing over Hardham Viaduct which carries the line over the River Arun and has passed the up home signal gantry which used to have a lower arm to give access to the up station loop.
At the London end of the former junction station is Pulborough signalbox, a Saxby and Farmer Type 5 'box of 1878 vintage. The tall rail built up starter is cleared by 377160 and 377101 which forms 1C67 1338 from Chichester to London Victoria.
Just outside the station at Pulborough is the low Hardham Viaduct which carries the line over the River Arun. An unknown pair of class 377 Electrostars form an unidentified up service.
