    Inside the 126 year old signalbox and the instrument shelf and 1879 Saxby and Farmer 17 lever frame, with lots of white levers, forms the foreground as 377443 is viewed through the 'box window as it forms 2D12 0956 off Hastings to Brighton.
    Polegate is a shadow of its former self since radiating lines have closed over the years and the Polegate Crossing is the only surviving signalbox.  377164 departs with 2D68 1040 Hastings to Brighton passing the Saxby and Farmer Type 5 'box of 1883 vintage.
