Oakenshaw and Healey Mills

Day three in North Yorkshire and I head west into West Yorkshire and an overbridge over the line south of Wakefield. It is predominately freight with an hourly passenger service thrown in. The overbridge turned out to be a busy place during the morning with rail traffic AND photographers!! I also made a short trip out to Healey Mills depot and yard to see what was about.     Class 155 Sprinter 155341 approaches with another class 2 local working, 2F72 1256 Knottingley to Wakefield Kirkgate.
    66137 works an unidentified empty coal train north towards Calder Bridge Junction and Wakefield and where ever for reloading.
