Manchester Piccadilly between trains

During a journey break enroute from Fife to Dorset, on 6/5/10, for the Swanage Railway Diesel Gala and Beer Festival I spent a few hours between trains at Manchester's Piccadilly station. After the gala I made the same journey north again with a few more hours on the platform at Piccadilly on 10/5/10.

    Two coach turbostar 170309 arrives at Piccadilly having started its journey to Cleethorpes at Manchester Airport at 1455, running as 1B82.
    Looking into the station throat and to the left is 150211 forming 2H69 1452 Marple to Piccadilly. Then a pair of class 185 sets pass with 185106 working 1E84 1427 Liverpool Lime Street to Scarborough and 185133 diagrammed on 1C54 Manchester Airport to Barrow in Furness. Hiding almost out of view is a class 175 Coradia unit in the turnback siding.
