This was a good and varied year with lots going on. I managed to see a good amount of freight and loco hauled workings too adding variety to the everyday passage of units.

    Due to overnight engineering work in the Stirling area connected with the electrification programme, the Inverness portion of the Highland Sleeper was diverted via the Newburgh branch and through Fife. So as I was out for the Aberdeen portion I hung on for the Inverness one as well. DBC owned 67003 is in the debranded light blue livery of Arriva Trains Wales and works 1M16 2044 off Inverness for Edinburgh where it will combine with the Aberdeen and Fort William portions to head on to London Euston.
    Just before I head home to bed 170412 runs in with 2G17 2319 Edinburgh to Perth. The last train to Perth is my lat photo of 2017. It was a good year with a great variety of loco hauled trains. 25/10/2017
