Due to the Highland Sleeper loco failing on the WCML at Rugby it eventually reached Edinburgh for the three way split some 4 hours and 7 minutes late. The onward portions were cancelled with passengers taking other trains onwards.
Here the Aberdeen portion works north empty so it is in position for the return working tonight. Normally this train loaded passes here at 0545 hrs. 9/7/20014
Early evening and it's damp and dull at Ladybank as 158729 runs in with 1L09 1638 from Edinburgh to Perth. The train will stop here. 2/8/2014
