Bow of Fife is a good location for up and down trains and all times of the day. Here 43367 "DELTIC 50 1955-2005" leads 1S11 the 1000 from Kings Cross to Aberdeen. The grey and white set looks good especially when clean. On the back is 43206. 16/9/2013
DBS 67019 approaches the level crossing at Bow of Fife with 1Z74 1334 Edinburgh to Leuchars formed of the Belmond VSOE British Pullmans. This is the first of two POSHEX tours heading for Leuchars and I can not recall the reason other than something happening at St Andrews, probably golf!
The stock had worked up empty from Stewarts Lane, London to Millerhill leaving at 0250. It then did the short run to Leuchars with the well heeled passengers and then went ALL the way back to London empty again. Crazy!!
