On the back of the train is 55022 idling which was a surprise. It looks great in the afternoon sun.
This long lens shot shows the train changing from down at 1 in 208 to level and further on climbing at 1 in 111. The crossover is used for up trains coming off the Newburgh branch. 15/9/2013
Bow of Fife is a good location for up and down trains and all times of the day. Here 43367 "DELTIC 50 1955-2005" leads 1S11 the 1000 from Kings Cross to Aberdeen. The grey and white set looks good especially when clean. On the back is 43206. 16/9/2013
