Sprinter 150250 heads east at Lumphinnans Junction with an unknown working, possibly a Fife Circle train.
For May the weather is wet and miserable but it doesn't stop the coal trains. 66166 comes round the sharp curve at the site of Lumphinnans Junction with a Longannet to Thornton Yard empty MGR rake.
Having dropped off its Royal passenger, the Royal Train now runs back to Wolverton ECS. 47798 passes Lumphinnans Junction on the Fife Circle. Above the loco was a branch to one of the numerous coal pits in the area. Another line came off in front of the loco which was ran direct to Cowdenbeath South junction and included the original Cowdenbeath station.
