Moving further west and Margam Steel Works' Knuckle Yard is the location. A public footpath runs right across the many lines giving unhindered photographic opportunities providing care is taken. Yard pilot 08630 goes about its business shunting wagons at the Yard.
Corus have their own shunters working in Knuckle Yard as well as the EWS shunters. No 506 and its match wagon draws a rake of covered steel wagons into the steel plant at Margam.
From this angle the loco looks like a former class 07 shunter.
