    A change in the stable diet of class 170 and 158 units sees 156434 run in past signals SM79 and SN35. On the same post is shunting arm SM78 and to the left is platform 3 up starter SM70 (since replaced). The train working is 2P55 1419 Newcraighall to Dunblane.
    A busy scene at Stirling with 170470 and 158707 sitting side by side. The turbostar is northbound with 2N45 1448 Glasgow Queen Street to the small dormitory city of Dunblane. Coming in the opposite direction is the sprinter with 2P32 1527 from Dunblane to Edinburgh.
