    Down starter SN36 is now off and the driver of 66520 opens his charge up to gather speed away from Stirling. It was a shame that 47816 was not given this rescue task.
    National Express ScotRail liveried 170422 sits in the bay platform 4 between duties. Semaphores SN18 and SN11 relate to the through platform 6 and the posts retain their Caledonian Railway finials. This gantry has been replaced by a LED colour light signal.
    Back at the south end of the station and 170451 crosses over to run into platform 10. SM26 is off for the terminating service 2N63 1518 from Glasgow Queen Street.
