    The lowering evening sun glints off DRS 66407 on hire to Freightliner for the duration of the diversions. The train is 4E50 1845 Ipswich Yard to Leeds diverted Freightliner. The train is crossing the 100 foot Washes near Pymoor on the line to March and  Peterborough.
    Still near Pymoor is an unidentified Central Trains class 158 unit approaches forming a cross country working 1L28 1552 Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich.  19/7/2004
    The next day and I had hoped to see a freightliner working at this spot, Blockmoor Fen on the line from Ely to Stowmarket via Bury St Edmunds. This working is 1L36 0845 Peterborough to Ipswich formed by an unknown class 170 Turbostar.  20/7/2004
