Tug Fest in the Peak District III.....Even less so

A further return to the Peak District for a couple of days to lookout new locations around Peak Forest, Great Rocks and for the first time Buxton and the quarries beyond. I was not to be disappointed. 9+10/7/2007

    Usually this working recesses at Peak Forest for the driver to have a break, but because it was late arriving at and leaving Dowlow Quarry, that break was taken at Buxton. Now 66025 departs and passes Buxton's LNWR signalbox which is fitted with a 48 lever frame with 44 levers still in use.
    The driver has the road to Great Rocks Junction via the picturesque curve at Chee Dale. 10/7/2007
    A new and dull day and I'm back at Peak Forest. 66024 slowly propels a rake of 15 MBA bogie boxes back into the RMC sidings at Peak Forest Quarry. 11/7/07
