    37703 reaches Townsend Bridge with 1R08 1239 Swanage to the River Frome.
    Now THIS is what it is all about! D4 Great Gable lifts its five coaches up the 1 in 80 climb from the end of the loop at Corfe with 1R07 1232 River Frome to Swanage.
    The fourth of the original Peak type 4 locos is notched up with the exhaust rising high from the port. I have waited a long time to see and ride behind this loco and it was worth the wait.
