2019 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala

The annual Swanage Diesel Gala cannot be missed - Resistance is Futile! So Ross and I boldly went where we always go, to Wareham for a weekend of family, friends and fun. It would be rude not to go so we can't have that.
A weekend of stunning weather and another first for the Railway, a visit by a class 59, but for the third time class 44 peak D4 failed to arrive.

    On the back is 50007/14. I have more shots of this side of the loco than 50007's side. The train passes over the viaduct in just glorious early evening sun light.
    50007 has been uncoupled from the back of the previous train and put on the front of 26007 for the short run to Norden. This happened every day at this time for what ever reason, possibly because both locos are 007.
    This time there is no selfish prick ruining the shot by standing on the kiss gate. In perfect light 50007/14 pilots 26007 on 1N18 1739 Swanage to Norden, the last up train of the 2019 gala.
