2019 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala

The annual Swanage Diesel Gala cannot be missed - Resistance is Futile! So Ross and I boldly went where we always go, to Wareham for a weekend of family, friends and fun. It would be rude not to go so we can't have that.
A weekend of stunning weather and another first for the Railway, a visit by a class 59, but for the third time class 44 peak D4 failed to arrive.

    Now 73119 enters the yard and will couple onto the class 59.
    At this point I do not recall how the timetable was doing after its earlier slippage, my notes do not say. D6515 runs in with 1R15 1632 River Frome to Swanage. During the station dwell time to await the next Up train, the loco on the back will uncouple.
    50007 or 50014, on this side, passes D6515, on both sides, and forms 1R16 1639 Swanage to River Frome, the last train of the day to the river viaduct. 97205 will come out of the yard and tie on at the back. Ross and I will get on board.
