2014 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala

Once more Ross and I venture south to sunny Dorset and a weekend of pure indulgence of wall to wall diesel traction on the Swanage branch at their annual Diesel Gala. Oh and also to see my parents, elder brother and loads of mates.....and drink some beer. Well it would be rude not to!!

    Darn it I picked the wrong platform as I expected the train to take the crossover on the country end of the station and not to run in on the down platform. The sun favours the other platform.
    The train slows for its Wareham stop and to surrender the branch token.
    A class 33 and a 4TC set stands at Wareham station, something I haven't seen since 20/6/1987.
