2014 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala

Once more Ross and I venture south to sunny Dorset and a weekend of pure indulgence of wall to wall diesel traction on the Swanage branch at their annual Diesel Gala. Oh and also to see my parents, elder brother and loads of mates.....and drink some beer. Well it would be rude not to!!

    Running in the path of the 1715 class 1 working to Norden is a different train, 1V40 1715 Swanage to Ealing Broadway with West Coast Railway's 33029 hauling the 4TC set.
    The Swanage Working Timetable has this as 1V40 1715 off Swanage, but respected website Six Bells Junction has 1Z33 1700 off Swanage. After this shot Ross and I headed off to Norden to catch it again there.
