2014 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala

Once more Ross and I venture south to sunny Dorset and a weekend of pure indulgence of wall to wall diesel traction on the Swanage branch at their annual Diesel Gala. Oh and also to see my parents, elder brother and loads of mates.....and drink some beer. Well it would be rude not to!!

    The castle ruins dominate the scene here at Afflington and it is lit by the sun whilst the line is in shadow.
    The 4TC set is made up of vehicles from different units and it does not carry a set number, nor does it have a yellow warning panel on the cab ends, and WHAT is that livery????
    Crossing the busy A351 road for the going away shot of 33111 pushing away for Swanage. It will pass slowly through Harmans Cross station for the token exchange.
