2014 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala

Once more Ross and I venture south to sunny Dorset and a weekend of pure indulgence of wall to wall diesel traction on the Swanage branch at their annual Diesel Gala. Oh and also to see my parents, elder brother and loads of mates.....and drink some beer. Well it would be rude not to!!

    On the back of D6700's train is 33111.
    A small rug of bluebells are growing on the side of the shallow cutting on the approach to Harmans Cross from Swanage. The flowers reflect the blue of the Network SouthEast livery of 50026 working 1N08 1330 from Swanage to Norden.
    Turning round for the going away shot and the taller of the two pegs is off for the "main line" through the station.
