Once more Ross and I venture south to sunny Dorset and a weekend of pure indulgence of wall to wall diesel traction on the Swanage branch at their annual Diesel Gala. Oh and also to see my parents, elder brother and loads of mates.....and drink some beer. Well it would be rude not to!!

    The last of the main day services from Swanage is 2N26 1730 off for Norden with 5081 in charge of the 5 mkI coaches and a Bulleid coach.
    Ian McDavid was the Swanage driver of 5081 this day and the loco owners would not let him OUT of the seat and he said he had a fantastic day.
    Train 2S25 1815 Norden to Swanage gets away with D6515 piloting 33202.
