2014 Swanage Railway Diesel Gala

Once more Ross and I venture south to sunny Dorset and a weekend of pure indulgence of wall to wall diesel traction on the Swanage branch at their annual Diesel Gala. Oh and also to see my parents, elder brother and loads of mates.....and drink some beer. Well it would be rude not to!!

    D6515 gets away and the signalman gives the token to Harmans Cross to the secondman on the loco. Once on board and checked the driver will open up climb away from Swanage.
    Class 37 D6700 is signalled out of the yard and drops down onto the 4TC set sitting in platform 1. In the distance is shunter D3591 and West Coast Railways 33029 which brought the 4TC in on a railtour the previous Thursday and will take one out on Sunday.
