It is that time of year when the annual pilgrimage takes me and Ross back to the homeland and the Swanage Diesel Gala. Oh and to see my parents too!! But this year we stayed for just the Friday and Saturday as we had to be back in Scotland for the Monday. 10-11/5/2013

    Ten minutes after 33108 had departed, class 08 shunter D3591 and a Queen Mary brake van come into view with 3S01 1740 Norden to Swanage.
    The short train approaches the foot crossing.
    The shunter and brake van had been at Eldon Sidings all day doing driver experiences and brake van rides on the non passenger section of the line. Now it's heading back to Swanage. Someone had a good day :-)
